About me:
What Is The Gift&trade?
The Gift™ is a customized, Atlanta-based American Idol style singing competition that showcases young talent in Birmingham area. The Gift™ singing competition, based on positive/inspirational music, is open to amateur solo artists and groups with four members or less, between the ages of 9 - 15 who are Alabama residents. Over past years, The Gift™ has also highlighted talented youth between the ages of 9 - 21.
The Gift™ is designed to help establish a foundation for building a successful career in the music, marketing and related industries through education, technical tools and life skills assistance. The Gift™ has highlighted and produced youth that have developed career paths in the areas of performing arts: music, writing, producing and marketing.
The Rules
o Compete for your Chance to Win Over $5,000 in Cash and Prizes
o The Gift competition is open to children ages 9-15.
o Deadline to receive entry forms is September 10, 2009. Entry forms can be obtain at local McDonald's restaurants.
o Arrive early! Contest open to first 150 contestants to arrive at More Than Conquerors Faith Church, 1327 Dennison Avenue, SW, Birmingham, Alabama 35211, September 12 starting at 9:00 am.
o Final competition before a live audience September 19 at The Carver Theater.
