My name is Mackenzie Carpenter. I'm 17 years old and I go to Christopher High School. I love sports. I play softball for the school and in the summer on traveling teams. When I'm not at school or playing ball, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love to take pictures. I've put a lot of my time and money into it already, and cannot get away from it. I simply LOVE photography! It’s a true passion of mine.
I'm attending a photography class at John A. Logan College. You can usually find me at a ball game or school event taking pictures for the school newspaper. I’ve won a few photo contests, and have taken pictures of friends and nature. My main focus is taking pictures of what people want to see. I enjoy taking pictures of sports the most, I guess it’s because I love sports and know what’s happening in the game.
By making this page, I want to put myself out there. I feel like by taking pictures, I can capture a moment in time. That moment can be remembered forever. Everyone at some point in his or her life will have a special moment … I want to be the one to capture that moment. When you look at a picture that is truly special to you, you relive that moment and can keep it forever.
