Again, I'm simple. Writing and reading (( because it is stupid to separate them )) are SUPER important to me. I spend more time reading than I do with my friends. The Sims 3 is a necessity. The morbid things in life are vital to my existence. Role-playing with My Person keeps me breathing. Being scared keeps me who I am. :]

God. For your never ending love for me. You are my best friend, my saviour, my Lord. Without you, I wouldn't be who I am today. And I thank you for everything you've done for me, my family, my friends, and everyone else. I hope I can make you proud, because I know I am proud to follow you.
My parents. You guys! I swear! You kick ass! There is no doubt. Mummy, you are one of my closest friends ever, but I don't know if I'd be as happy with another mum. Dad, yeah, you are freaking over protective and we always argue, but you are my dad and I love you super much. Thanks for being my parents but being my friends as well. I love you.
Pappy. Seriously? You rock! Thank you so much for fighting for your country and for making sure we get to stay in this great country. Your strength astounds me! Sure, it's like mum married a child sometimes, but you are amazing. I am proud to call you my step-father.
My closest friends (( Christal, Darcy, Aubree, Christian, Briana )). Holy crap, I love you! Sure, I don't talk to some of you anymore, but that doesn't take away the fact that I trust the hell out of you. You guys are amazing. I just. . . You guess are my rock. I don't know what I'd do without you. My Bestie? We will never let each other go, that I am sure of. My Person, my Diet Coke of Inspiration, my Lesbian Lover if I was Lesbian, we will rock all when we leave California behind to start our life in Tennessee. I can't wait till we stay up all night posting and watching movies! :] The Aubs. We sure look like opposites, but you are so unique. I'm glad we found each other in 5th grade. You are such a tough cookie. I admire you. Briana. HaHa! You are classic. That's all I have to say. Since the first time we talked, I knew you were a hurricane of adventure! You are strong and I really admire that about you. I know you hate when people do that, but I do. You are talented and funny. Just a great person, through and through. Christian. You are, in the end, my best guy friend no matter what happens now or in the future. You are such a selfless guy, so willing to help others before yourself. In the end, I probably trust you more than I trust a lot of other friends I have known longer. I won't forget you.
My sisters. We freaking rock! Don't doubt it. Bekah, you will be the most kick ass make-up artist to touch the earth! Just remember to pimp my name out when you meet a cute actor. Alys, I am glad you have finally found your dreams and have plans to start your life with your new fiance. I send all my love to you two. Alys, we argue more than anyone else, but you are my sister. I love you two.
Last but not least, the troops who fight for us. You are the true heroes. Whether or not you disagree with the war, you are doing America a huge favour. I am grateful until my dying day. You guys keep me focused, keep me proud, keep me American. I can't imagine my life anywhere else. Thank you so much.

About me:

I am Kate. Hear me roar! *Gr*
I am incredibly picky, but when you find out what I like and what I don't, I am the easiest person to please. Things macabre and disturbing amuse the heck out of me; I love that shite. (( Zombies, vampies, Weres, etc. )) My family is my life; screw with them, you get me. I know everyone has that on their MySpace, but seriously, I will not be nice if you hurt ANY of my family. (( Yeah. That's a threat. Go tell on me. )) My friends are my sanity. Without them, I would be a very sad person. (( I LOVE YOU CHRISTAL, DARCY, AND AUBREE. Top friends, right there! :] )) My child is my life. And who is my child? Mukluk, my Siberian Husky. I love you! :] If you give me gum or a romance story with zombies, you've won my heart. :] Words are my passion. In fact, you can find a couple things that I have written on my blog. I intend to be an author and nothing will stop me. Not writer's block, not rejection, and not you if you get in my way.

Who I'd like to meet:

Photobucket
Michael Crichton (1942-2008)
Though no longer possible, I would have loved to meet Michael Crichton. He was such a brilliant mind, talented author, and interesting man. The world of writing will never be the same, I fear. I can honestly say the only thing I regret is not being able to meet him. Rest in peace, Michael.

Photobucket George A. Romero (1940- )
If I could blame anyone for writing what I do, it would be Mr. George A. Romero! He is fantastic! He believes in the beauty of zombies and all things gorey. And he is smart. Hollywood is better for zombies only because he lives! :]

I need to read New Moon before I see the horrible pages-to-screen transition. I plan on buying 5 tickets and selling 3 or 4 of them for a 300% mark up. Lol.

Spot on Kate. I had the same issues with the book. It indeed made me laugh tons. Which is one reason why I love it. It's so ridiculous. I'm a Twilight fan for different reasons. The whole Edward/Bella thing was sickening to me as well. I guess to me the whole idea of Edward, not his character, is what fascinates me. He's what every girl wants. A man who will stand by your side and love you for you.

And the whole sparkling like diamonds? So funny. Is it like his blood so thickened and petrified it actually sparkles through his skin?

Anyways... great review of it. And Meyer being compared to Stoker or Rice? That's like comparing the Jonas Brothers to the Beatles.

you should read my video comment...
  • Aug 21 2009 3:24 PM

You are going to let me read more as you add to it, right?

I think actual complete games... I have played five actual games where we completed the tasks and leveled up almost all the way.
  • Aug 13 2009 9:32 AM

Wow! That's impressive. I just read it!

Well, like I said every campaign is different so I guess it depends ont he campaign...
Each Dungeon Master plans out the general directions/opportunities of the game and follows the Campaign... Some campaigns involve saving someone, or a town, or winning something....But a lot of teh campaigns I have seen involve saving a town from corruption, and conquering evil.
  • Aug 12 2009 6:22 PM

Ill read your intro when i get home. im about to go out.

they can last months... you can't really put a time limit on them, because its all depending on the people playing, the encounters in game, and the roleplay...
    yep! them voodoo Zombers! :)
  • Aug 12 2009 6:06 PM

It's exactly like that, and sometimes sex can be part of it, but typically for the comfort zone and safe rating of the game, there isn't much of it... Course I know Darcy has a story about that! LOL! I guess whens he was playing with her older sister and her friends... Darcy was a Bard and they needed to win a flute of some kind to trade for information, and Darcy being the bard figured "rather than steal i will perform for it, maybe win it" then later she found out that one of the players had taken it from the owner after having sex with the owner... LOL! crazy stories...
DnD has fights, exploring, questing, raiding, sneaking, battles, wars, stories... i mean like everything... Some campaigns have undead in them, and Zombies are classified as undead int he game. Rather than being infected by something- they are undead bodies being controlled by some one. So often times when you encounter Zombies in DnD you have got one hell of a fucking challenge. To control hordes of Zombies you have to be a pretty powerful person in one corrupted place. I wonder what campaign she is playing...

They are just regular ol' gauges.
  • Aug 12 2009 5:33 PM

That's another thing I really like about Dungeons and Dragons- As long as you follow the basic mathematical rules- every DM plays the game differently... And every player, of course, brings a different perspective to everything... It's one of the most creative games out there. I haven't actually played a complete campaign with him, no. But we've kind of played around with the game, because he wants to try the new version that just came out [4.0] but I've never played that one either... so we were kind of playing a little with it to see if we like it more/less/equal to 3.0&3.5
Another cool thing about this game is it could be played with miniatures or without... with uhm actual grid maps or the DM can draw them out himself... So if a DM wasn't the best at drawing or say no one wanted to try and picture this in their heads-- they have grids and miniatures... if you ever wanna check it out--- wizards.com/dnd

  • Aug 12 2009 4:54 PM

Dungeon Masters are basically the referees, and they RP the creatures and random people that the roleplayers interact with. Depends on teh group... I guess. I mean i wouldn't have a problem with my DM having a character, as long as he is fair and doesn't make it so his character seems to know everything. I would imagine it's hard to play a character knowing everything about the game that the DM knows... but it's definately possible.

Your descriptive of gauging your ear.
  • Aug 12 2009 4:36 PM

The thing about making a group is you never know what classes or races you are going to be grouped with, but yes there are healers in DnD. Basically I think every class can heal in one way or another, but the big healers are the Clerics, Paladins, Monks, Wizards, Sorcerers, Bards, and I think Rangers.... Druids.... Mostly if you are a caster you will probably heal at one point or another in the game. Rangers don't cast much, but when they do I believe they can pick healing spells.... AND YES even if there are healers in your group, you can die! A fair Dungeon Master will let it happen when and if there situation leaves to that... I think when your Hit Points go to -10 you are dead.

Oww! LOL! you seem real creative right now! Nice!
