I was born 1974 in Asmara, the beautiful capital of Eritrea. Due to the interminable struggle in this region of Africa we had to flee to Germany hoping for a better life. I grew up in a city near Cologne in West Germany and began making music when i was a little child. In the erlay eighties i got in contact with HipHop Music and was absolutely thrilled by this new kind of vibe. I started rapping and gained my first live on stage experience as a mc on hiphop jams. I never thought about singing since that day a friend and guitar player asked me and my sister to sing in his acid jazz band. Since that day i focused on singing and explored different genres like HipHop, Reggae, Jazz, Soul, D&B and even Rock. I think im a very versatile vocalist simply because of the reason that im open for so many different genres. There is just too much good music out there to limit yourself to one style.
