About me:
Rap Artist/Producer/Entrepreneur/Activist I was born in Tewksbury, Massachusetts (USA). I was adopted and several years ago found my biological family in Springfield, Ma. I grew up in Roxbury, Ma during the civil rights and black power movement of the 60's and 70's. After living in Tanzania, Africa from age 5-7, I started my music career playing jazz/fusion/rock drums in Lexington, Ma (birthplace of America). My drum teacher would say I was a "natural" and I could only attribute it to the sounds I had heard while in Africa. At 8 years old, I shook legendary drummer Max Roach's hand after meeting him backstage and didn't wash my hands for a week. After winning "most musical" in my jr. high school, our family moved to Dartmouth College where I engineered live reggae shows and started rapping with my best friend MastaSwitch.
