Jesus! Of course, growing up in a church influenced and inspired me to go into music and be the writer that i am. I like to sing songs by Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette, The older stuff will always be a musical choice of mine during all my shows!! I do alot of Carrie Underwood. Taylor Swift is definently my most BIGGEST influence! =) Shes great. but it doesnt just stop at country, i listen to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING.

Hey Everyone! Welcome to my myspace! =) My name is McKenzie Wilson and I am 16 years old. I've been performing and writing music since I was just 9 years old. Music is definitely where my heart is. I live in a hicktown where everybody knows everybody and the chance for fame seems like it's no where to be found, so I'm moving to Nashville as soon as I can! People say I have a very beautiful and powerful voice, I always love the look on peoples faces when I first open my mouth to sing. I play an acoustic-electric guitar and I write my own songs. I have performed at the CMA Music Festival the past two years. I perform my own original songs and cover songs consisting of new and old country and originals. Since I sing all kinds of music from different decades, I have fans of all ages!! I perform as a solo act or with a full band. I perform throughout the state of Pennsylvania and also, in Nashville, TN.

I have won at several talent competitions including the 2006 & 2007 Orbisonia Homecoming Idol-teen division and won 1st place at the 2007 17th Annual Crazy Fest Talent Show-12-13 year old division- in Altoona, Pa sponsored by Q94 Classic Rock and PA Musician's Magazine. I also placed in the top 4 of the 2007 WGRC Christian Radio Talent Show and performed on that radio station. I was a finalist in the Lewistown Riverfest Idol competition to be held the end of June and finished in 5th place out of 39 entries. I won the 2007 Shippensburg Fair Karaoke contest on July 28th and 2nd place in 2008 -Its a blast every year I go. I try to perform as many times as I can whenever I can!!
