Ten multi-instrumental members of The Buddhahood cook up a frothing pot of ideas in which diverse musical influences converge in the creation of tunes with innovation, nuance, and pure groove power. The band's original style has been coined "Worldternative," so within this music, audiences will hear reggae, calypso, samba, afro-beat, funk, blues, and rock in any given performance. Along with seven vocalists, the instrumentation includes multi-percussion, a full horn section, steel drums, bass, floor drums, and guitar.

“Family FUNKtion and the Sitar Jams” is a group of brothers devoted to creating a new psychedelic musical experience. In reality, the group was formed 20 years ago when the Padmanabha brothers were rockn’ around the house. Initially, rock and funk led to the discovery of Indian classical and folk styles. The extended improvisation found in Indian classical music has allowed the family to “funktion” in a new direction.

Plus !! Slip Madigan will be playing the front of the room between sets . Slip Madigan has been together for the better part of 5 years with most of it's members stemming off of the late, psychedelic warrior troop Total Protonic Reversal.
The band writes very tight intelligent , songs with rock,, funk jazz bluerass all the goods wrapped in one!

The show will be This Friday Dec. 5th @ Nietzches 248 Allen st Buffalo NY, 21 and up, 5 $ @ the door .
