The music of Will Kramer. He has been composing and performing songs for over 45 years. Very hard to button-hole. A little Jazz. A little Blues. Some nice Ballads. His music does not fit in any one genre and never has. When critics refer to his music as "New Age" he laughs and calls it more like "Old Age" because he has been doing it for a very long time.
A truly unique cabaret jazz quartet who plays a wide variety of original compositions through a multitude of musical sounds.
ROBIN MEREDITH: (piano/keyboards/lead vocalist)
Classically trained pianist who comes from rich musical bloodlines. Has opened for Leo Kottke, bluesman Wild Child Butler, and jazz vocalist Jeanne Carroll.
SCOTT CARLTON: (saxophones/flute/wind controller/percussion) Attendee of the American Conservatory of Music who is a talented multi-instrumentalist that plays in a wide array of styles. Has opened for Dave Mason, Rick Wakeman, Buckwheat Zydeco, and Mary Wilson's Supreme tribute.
WILL KRAMER: (composer/lyricist/piano/keyboards)
Is the quartet’s main composer and lyricist. Began writing songs at age 11. Unlike his partners, has no formal training. Worked his way through college as a solo piano player performing original compositions. Writes in many genres that include jazz, blues, folk and ballads. Formed trio, Meredith Carlton Kramer, in 1982.
WALTER JANZ: (drums/percussion)
Studied privately with Chicago Percussion instructor, Phil Stanger. Has played everything from society gigs on the North Shore to country music, in various rock bands and his own blues band, New City Blues Band, at the House of Blues.
This quartet has performed at Concerts, Clubs, Festivals, Art Galleries, Restaurant/Bars, Children’s Theatres and Weddings. They have recently completed producing their first CD entitled MOONBOW.
