About me:



Based at Radcliffe Civic, North Manchester, SOS is into its' 3rd year. Following the successes in 2008 & 2009 (headlined by Heaven's Basement & Blaze Bayley respectively) we've been motivated to make 2010 a 2 day event for the 1st time. Friday will be our classic rock day whilst Saturday is for the metalheads.

As well as great bands SOS also benefits from the promotion & enthusiasm of a dedicated team, the backing of Rocksector Records (voted Label of The Year at the 2009 Pure Rawk awards), & simple practical bonuses like ample free parking, excellent transport links & cheap hotel accommodation nearby. All ages welcome.

    AAAGH!!!!!!!! They have asked me to work today (Sat) so won't make it to the Olham gig tonight Please apologise to the Fury guys, I really wanted to be there and wish them good luck on the European tour, personally. I was looking forward to seeing everybody else again! Bollocks! but I can't afford to turn down work. Take care

    Hey ho - Thanks for the info about Helloween Ball - all depends on work here.

    Went to Leeds Festival on Saturday - what a journey - took hours as there had been a multiple accident on the A1 on the northbound side where I wanted to be - much diversions and queueing - finally got there at 4 ish. Weather was windy and sunny.

    I went to support THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS on the BBC Introducing Stage and they were amazing - now featured on the bbc.co.uk site - three of their songs on video. I am so pleased for them. They rehearse here and I have a great respect for them and their music and tenacity.

    Had full campsite over the weekend too so much jollity on the fields and a good time had by all.

    Young band in today - we are holding a workshop for them to improve their techniques etc. Bewick is tutoring for me.

    So bizzy bizzy bizzy. Hope all is well with you guyz.

    hello lynne i am coming over this friday but only for a short visit,i'll stay till tuesday with friends.i need this small break it will be good to stay in the UK.
    i will try to go to the wizzfest in februari,it depends how far it is from my hometown,belguim isn't very far from holland we are nieghbours,and i noticed that Fury is performing too.it must be a big spectaculair event.
