In association with Rock Radio Manchester 106.1FM & Rocksector Records, SOS Festival is back in 2009.... bigger, better, more bands, more everything!!!! SOS Festival 2009 at Radcliffe Civic, near Manchester, on Saturday 11th July.

2008 saw the first SOS, headlined by the popular classic rock band Heaven's Basement & we were delighted to see a crowd of some 200 people attending, including Rock Radio DJ Paul Anthony. Encouraged by that creditable start, we aim to make this years' event even bigger.

All ages welcome but we're required to make it clear that ID is required for anyone appearing to be under 21 & requiring alcohol to be served.

Radcliffe Civic is located just near the Radcliffe metrolink station & ample free parking is also nearby.

    Hey ho - Thanks for the info about Helloween Ball - all depends on work here.

    Went to Leeds Festival on Saturday - what a journey - took hours as there had been a multiple accident on the A1 on the northbound side where I wanted to be - much diversions and queueing - finally got there at 4 ish. Weather was windy and sunny.

    I went to support THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS on the BBC Introducing Stage and they were amazing - now featured on the bbc.co.uk site - three of their songs on video. I am so pleased for them. They rehearse here and I have a great respect for them and their music and tenacity.

    Had full campsite over the weekend too so much jollity on the fields and a good time had by all.

    Young band in today - we are holding a workshop for them to improve their techniques etc. Bewick is tutoring for me.

    So bizzy bizzy bizzy. Hope all is well with you guyz.

    hello lynne i am coming over this friday but only for a short visit,i'll stay till tuesday with friends.i need this small break it will be good to stay in the UK.
    i will try to go to the wizzfest in februari,it depends how far it is from my hometown,belguim isn't very far from holland we are nieghbours,and i noticed that Fury is performing too.it must be a big spectaculair event.
