About me: MC SAMPLER (HARRY ARTIN) is the Premiere Mock Rapper on the Planet. Having appeared first on MTV News in 1991 with his very first rap response parody "Can't Write This", mocking MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This", MC Sampler soon landed on the rap map. MC Sampler then followed up with his massive rap hit "Baby Got Jack" (a mockery of "Baby Got Back") which pissed off Sir Mix A Lot and almost caused a lawsuit. MC Sampler has been courted by a few major record labels, but remains fiercely independant producing and marketing his mock rap music though his Electric Eel Records label (a division of his company Electric Eel Entertainment). Often compared to Weird Al Yankovich, MC Sampler hates the comparison because Weird Al is a wimp who doesn't respect music. MC Sampler aka Sampler X is ultimately a rapper here to turn the rap industry upside down through mocking it death and bringing music and comedy together effectively. MC Sampler's other persona, "Sampler X" is more about serious rap muisc with a message, albeit comedic.
