S.H.'s debut tracks "Scale 69" and "{Mitre} Box Kit" from the 1996 12" vinyl compilation "Mo'Budded Fat Joints" (Rotation Music) kicked off an indie career of amazing flows, amazing lyrics, and LOTS of time off. Despite the two tracks getting a great deal of college and indie-radio airplay, it was almost 10 years before Shane Hunter recorded again, the result this time being the track "Effigy", which was later chosen by graffiti legend MEAR-ONE for the 'Re:Form' CD compilation (Kajmere Sound Distribution) he currated. 2007 saw the release of acclaimed debut album 'Conditions and Shifts' (Rotation Music). 2 and a half years later, S.H. has just dropped the mindblowing 6-track E.P. 'Something in Los Angeles is Always Burning' (7-6-8-4). The EP will be released on CD on March 13, 2010, three years to the day after the debut album. The rough-mix mp3 version is available for FREE download below. This version is free, but a studio-mastered digital version (with bonus track "An Impasse) will be available on iTunes at the time of the CD release. Enjoy.
