About me:
I have always been a person who has a strong love for being creative. With three big passions in my life including music, writing and photography. I have also enjoyed other creative activities as well, including working on building, designing and maintaining websites.
For starters, probably the strongest passion I have a love for, would be music. After growing up with a father in the radio business, and a mother who used to be in a country music band. I grew up to appreciate a large variety of music. A music career is something of a dream for me. I have always dreamed to record an album, of my own original songs, and peform my music on stage. I have had this dream for as long as I can remember. This however, became more clear to me back in October 1998, when 15 other kids and myself from the 8th grade music class at my school, was picked to sing background vocals for the rock band, Domestic Problems, to the song 'Summer In The Sandbox'. We performed at the State Theater in Kalamazoo, Michigan. There was roughly 15,000 people in the audience, and I still remember ever last nerve I had, as I stepped out on the stage. Also, how they all just washed away as I took my place with the other kids and sang our part. At that moment, I knew for certain music was something I wanted to pursue.
Aside from the music, I have been writing since I was about 10 or 11 years old. Whether it was poems, songs, short stories or scripts for plays. I was always writing something. It became a strong outlet (along with music) for me to feel I could breathe, and express myself. Whether it was something I was writing just for me, or for someone else to read. I have watched my family face a lot of hard times during my life time. Writing was always soemthing I felt I could do, to release the sadness, anger, happiness and any other emotion I felt. Since the age of 14, I have been working on my first book. Publishing a book is a big goal for me, along with some other writing accomplishments I would like to get done. I currently publish my writings to Gather.com, as I work on building my skills up more, as I work on getting my name out there with my smaller projects, while I work on the big ones.
Now, aside from the music and writing, I am currently learning digital photography. I have always admired photography (both film and digital). My Grandfather (on my dad's side) was heavily into photography, for a number of years. I consider myself lucky to have a few of his pieces of work, which I do hold dear. I do not attend classes for photography of any kind. I am buying books on digital photography, as often as I can, and studying them. I am also just taking my HP PhotoSmart 735 digital camera out, and shooting every chance I get! I am thankful to a handful of professional photographers, who have kept in contact with me, and help guide and critic me as I continue down my learning path. Eventually, I do plan to take a course or two in the field, but for now I will do what I can, on my own.

Who I'd like to meet:
Some professional photographers, who can help give me honest critiques on my work and progress. As someone who is still learning, I would really like to receive some input. Especially any, that will help me improve on my skills.
I would also like to meet, anyone interested in posing for my camera. Again, as someone learning, I would like to get more 'practice' with models. You don't have to be a professional, but willing to work out a deal to pose in front of the camera for me.
Aside from the photography, the writer in my would love to meet some music artists, who are looking for some extra promotion. Willing to do a photo shoot and interview with me. All my articles will be posted to my Gather page, and will include links to any official MySpace pages and websites.
