The show fucking killed last night. My expectations were met and left in shambles. White Limo opened up. Ohmyfuckinggod. Go see them. They're soooo fucking good. Finally got to see a Dr. Long Ghost show and he was awesome. Loved every second of it. And his sister is hot. Wrong closed the show. They didn't have a drummer so the bassist/vocalist of White Limo stepped in. The dude had never heard a Wrong song in his life and he fucking nailed every song. Totally blew my mind.
Our set was incredible. It was probably the most fun I've had playing a show ever. I couldn't be happier with the combination of people onstage right now. Having Jessi as a dancer and Chris as a co-vocalist really brings everything together. Oh, and Jessi debuted DreamFox material for the first time ever last night. And she brought the fucking house down. Like I said before, I was really nervous having someone replace Ellen as DreamFox, but all my worries were wiped away last night. I had to scrape my mouth off the floor. She looked and sounded fantastic. Goddamn can that girl dance.
Oh, and Bukkake Dukakis debuted his first solo song last night. Oh and holy shit he killed it. Chris is a great performer and I'm really, really excited about getting more and more Bukkake Dukakis songs in the can. Jessi's leaving for Europe in a couple weeks but when she gets back, expect to see a lot of: White Limo/MC Vagina/DreamFox/Bukkake Dukakis lineups. I can't fucking wait until we have enough material to do three separate sets. I'm telling you guys, this shit is awesome. It's all coming together. I haven't been this excited about writing or performing in a long, long time.
Jessi and I will be practicing a couple more DreamFox songs this weekend and should be ready to do four DreamFox songs at our show on June 1st at the Rubulaud in Queens. It's gonna be a huge party and you really shouldn't miss it.
