(on the infamous street of Vel ct./age 15). He was back seat in a Coupe De Ville with his homeboy "T". "They gave me a bottle of MD 20/20 aka Mad Dog 20/20 and after 3 minutes that bottle was half gone-N-I was on buzz!" Asking his name, he replied: "Yo I'm Mike Daniel"! They looked at each other, looked at me and said; "From now on Yo name is MD 2020! -MD 2020 was born"!!.. ..MD soon dedicated a good portion of his teenage life: "Robb-n foolz, Master-N tha art of Pickpocketing, Mack-N on Broadz-N-Dodge-N Hand-Cuffz!" -Basically, "...living a life that provided no true future!".. ..After yearz of going nowhere in life, MD 2020 left Cali to live in the state he was born...Washington State! A couple of years had passed when MD decided to come back to the Golden State. MD basically went straight to "The Penthouse"(his pad) and started writing songs. These songs would later become part of this underground but ground breaking album called MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N-Bottle of Liquor!.. ..MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N Bottle of Liquor is the VERY 1st project(musically) ever produced/written/composed by MD 2020!! Although, like most artists that are new & just starting out, the time line & budget was very limited & financially small! With that said, you can tell MD 2020 tries extremely hard to create a strong product all the while bringing back alot of elements from the original/old school Hip-Hop as in: Storytelling, Creative Production and Creative rhyme flow... ..Overall, MD 2020 in...Tha Walk-N-Bottle of Liquor LP definitely has the potential to make a wave into todays Hip-Hop world. MD 2020 is what I consider to become the next Dr. Dre/DJ Quik as far as production! YES! This is a big statement.
