MDMX was one the french ambassador of techno music in Angers city (France). You can now meet her in different places in London and Paris.
In 2003, Sophie (her real name) bought her first decks and recorded mixtapes (DIY). Following this work, 4 autoproduced albums, very differents, with several influences (folk, riot grrrl, pop, techno).
It's after a « Dans Ta Chatte » party at the Lieu Unique in Nantes that she discovered the underground electronic music. Sophie went to Angers in 2005 for communication studies. She created a radio talkshow called "L'Heure de Monique" on Radio Campus Angers. With a lot of passion and happiness, she is now a very nice ambassador of techno music.
Being crazy about minimal beats from Chloe, Cardini or Minilogue, MDMX can't keep working during weeks and months as to give the most perfect.
She met the parisian fanzine "Barbieturix" and had the opportunity to play at their amazing parties in very nice places like La Scène Bastille or l'Alimentation Générale in Paris. She join the french Dj and producer Arno Gonzales during the Modern Factory event (one of the most important electronic event in Angers).
She joined the netlabel FTW (Fuck That World - Music and Fashion blog) in 2007 and played at their different parties in France. Her featuring on the track "Shake your Booty" produced by Young P 3018 is a huge success and was acclaimed by I'm Fresh You're Pretty or Fisk (UK).
