Maryland Emergency Medical Services Program Inc. (MDEMSP)- Mission Statement- MDEMSP and the Board will provide, promote and utilize the program for Emergency Medical Service providers. The board consists of five (5) volunteers. The MDEMSP program is to recognize Maryland EMS providers. The program recognizes these providers through specialized license tags, scholarships, and charity programs. The MDEMSP program is a non-profit organization. The income/revenue received to the program and the board is strictly and solely used in its benefit programs. The program will unite and promote equality throughout its members. Who we serve? The Maryland Emergency Medical Services Program Inc. covers all licensed EMS providers in the State of Maryland. This includes Maryland EMD's, Maryland First Responders, Maryland EMT-Basic, Maryland CRT and EMT-I's, and finally Maryland Paramedics. There is no affiliation required. You do not have to belong to a career service, or a volunteer fire department. We have no prejudice, and no requirements or expectations from our supporters. What Is MDEMSP? The Founder and CEO created an organization to respectfully recognize and reward EMS providers not affiliated or associated to any specific Department, Organization, Hospital, or program. The only requirement was they were to have a certification or license in the State of Maryland. The program will reward and recognize it members’ annually through donations and income received annually. In an effort to establish the organization the Board went before the Maryland General Assembly and spoke with & worked with various state agencies in an effort to become the MDEMSP program. The MDEMSP program offers educational benefits that further provider’s continuing education or current certification through scholarships. The MDEMSP program offers services that would allow you to support the program through various donations, Maryland EMS license tags are available for your Auto, SUV or Truck. The program and Board support various continuing education programs.
