MDRansom is native Staten Islander who came to Brooklyn via Manhattan. At diverse times he's a poet, actor, singer/songwriter and student. Credits include: The Whitehorse Theater Company's workshop production of a new American play by Greg Lemoine, directed by Cyndy A. Marion: HALF co-starring his lovely wife Jennifer Scott Mobley, Gallethea at HERE in the American Living Room, A reading of Junos Swans (2econd Stage), The King of Cimarron County (Soho Rep), I Will Go, I Will Go (Cherry Lane Alternative), The Blind (Brooklyn College Studio Theater), Winter Love (ATA), Like A Springsteen Song by Scott Brooks at the Blue Heron Arts Center along with numerous parts in indie films including "The Brotherhood" by Adam Grabel and the film version of the afore mentioned "Like a Springsteen Song". He has delivered his brand of poetry in such NYC venues as the now defunct Biblio's and The Red Room with Reckless in Hell's Kitchen, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe and others. He's performed at such venues as The Vault, HellFire, Platos Retreat, Le Trapez and others with such luminaries as Ron Jeremy, Marc Stevens and John Leslie. His spoken word CD, WILD IRON FREEDOM, is available through his website and he is currently in production of his second which includes musical collaborations with Dennis Randazzo, Routh Chadwick, David Cooper and Tony Noe and is proud to be working with the Spirit Guides on how to deal with the violence and maddness of a cruel world without becoming part of the problem.
