Dan Jarman has been writing and recording electronic music since he was eight years old. He quickly progressed from a small 4-track recorder to a sampler/PC set up and by 1996 was writing and producing his own house productions and had his first vinyl release D J Technique – My Definition. The following year Dan fell in love with what was going on in the Trance scene and the Gatecrasher Anthem Spiritual Light was born under the Mea Culpa alias. The track was signed to independent label 4D Recordings in 1998. It featured on Gatecrasher and Cream Anthem albums and was playlisted by all the A-list Trance DJs. In demand as a remixer, Dan was commissioned to lend his production skills to the likes of Chicane/Salt tank, Bonzai Records, Sebatu (Solarstone). Dan was featured on a further two Gatecrasher albums, amongst many others.
In recent times, Dan has returned to his original passion for house music, but now it’s more often behind the decks (CD), igniting the crowd with a mix of his latest bootleg creations amongst current upfront electro tunes. His ‘old skool’ anthem sets are a speciality and also guaranteed to rock the dancefloor
