Brothers Scott & Pete formed Meades Bros. Productions to provide artist management, booking and a plethora of other services. We are however concentrating mainly on producing top quality shows that people want to see.
We figured there was room for a company that believes profit and ethics aren't mutually exclusive! We love and respect the artists we work with and appreciate and guard that trust they grant us.
We both have extensive experience in the industry running two different production groups - Top Billin' Entertainment and the now defunct Bad Logo Productions. Top Billin' is still up and running but this venture has allowed us to move beyond dealing strictly with hip hop acts and move into other markets. For those of you trying to reach us at Meades Bros. Productions, you can email us here:
Meades Bros. Productions USA is based in Detroit, MI and is headed up by Steve Mace.
Steve, a Montreal Canada native graduated from the University of Western Ontario and has extensive experience in the industry varying from Venue Owner & GM of several different venues. In the past nine years since he moved to Detroit he has worked in some of Metro Detroit's best bars as well as working as a finance executive. Steve brings a solid understanding of the Detroit area scene, vast club and management experience as well as a clear drive to construct a vibrant music scene. In his own words he's looking forward to "putting the Rock back into Detroit Rock City". Having known Steve for nearly two decades we can attest to his love of music and his strong desire to build and promote service based on trust and mutual respect.
We'd love to hear from you, whether it's suggestions for co-productions, bands you would like to see in your area, venues looking to book performances, or a project you really want to get off the ground. We're extremely open minded and like to judge each opportunity on it's own merit.
Check our blog often to see what we're up to.

July 24TH & 25TH The Legendary Karen Black in MY LIFE FOR A SONG
Two nights only! Advance tickets for MY LIFE FOR A SONG are $20, available at the Gladstone Hotel - 1214 Queen St. West. 416-531-4635, Suspect Video - 605 Markham St. 416-588-6674, or at the door.
The Rivoli better get ready, because tonight VEDETTE, Canary Mine and Little Foot Long Foot are coming to party, and bringing all of their party people. Each act is super-pumped to bring you their best set EVER, and we can't wait to see you there! If you miss out, then you'll be one of those sucky "I missed out people", and someone will play a sad, farty old tuba song in your honour... Don't be like that. This one's definitely gonna be a party, and you won't believe what's in store for you. So c'mon by the Rivoli tonight! 334 Queen Street West (which is basically at Queen & Spadina.)
I think Grand Magus is better appreciated when smokin vast quantities of weed! You should try to bring either of those bands here as i dont think they have ever played Canada before.Just let us open!! Cheers
