Singer-songwriters Mano and Ben have a collection of tunes that would satisfy even the most greedy of aural treat seeking listeners. Their pretty little acoustic paper trail of delighted punters are scattered over many places and hearts. Their adventures together have seen them performing at some choice nights out, warming up for Elbow crowds here and there, sneaking 6 songs into the soundtrack of channel 4's 'skins' and undeading the air of many radio stations.
Meadow has grown in size with the addition of Andy, Dan and Tim and it took a few live performances in Manchester and London and an official slot at In The City to find our shoes, but as we ended the year as guests of The Roadhouse supporting Elbow again at their Christmas party we think they were fitting quite comfortably.
Comfortable enough to start the album at least. We're currently 9 songs in and with no date set for release we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel but if we turn around we can't see where we started. When it's ready....
This is all we know...
