we started off because i (zandra) write music and it had to get out. i started off playing with mazz doing open mic nights. we then got offered bigger gigs and felt weedy without drums so we brought in more mates, dave and nissoka with their magical interpretation of drumming and since then, we haven't had the heart to tell them to stop.
me(dave) originally a bass player. i played in many bands in cornwall with styles ranging from gothic punk to folk and prog rock reggae? I started banging drums when i arrived in plymouth in the nineties, that started the slippery slope into playing percussion more than bass, i'm sure i lost a brain cell on the way (due to age(zandra))(ha ha ha ha(zandra)) (ooii, uncalled for(dave))(but..... unfortunately true(dave))

We would like to thank all the bands who supported Coombeshead Studios during 2007. It was our busiest year ever at just short of 100 bands, and allowed us to spend several thousand pounds on some major upgrades, launching us from a low budget studio to a fully professional setup. We continue to offer our low budget prices but offer a greater flexibility of control and greatly improved quality!
