Me and My Friends is a new book featuring unseen images and unheard anecdotes of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
UK photographer Tony Woolliscroft has followed and documented the Chilis from their early gigs in the smallest venues, to secret shows and record-breaking stadium tours.
Closer to the band than any other photographer, Tony shares his amazing moments in Me and My Friends.
It is an unofficial book but has the full backing of the band. It even features a personal foreword from Chad Smith.

We love Tony and his work so much that he is the only guy we give complete access to for an entire show. That's how much we trust him.
But you'll be able to see that trust going through this book. His images make you feel like you're there. Like any true artist, and much like our band, he keeps searching and trying to learn more about his craft. He has grown with us. I think you will see that growth here as well.
I have shared many amazing moments shooting this band, seeing the dayGlo effect of that outstanding UV show at the Astoria in London, trying to take pictures of them playing in a typhoon in Japan, watching an amazing comeback show with John in Washington RFK stadium, capturing AK as he sang Venice Queen, with me locked in that small makeshift studio in the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood (thank you AK it was amazing!), and one of my pictures was used on a certain CD sleeve that sold some 15,000,000 copies. Wow, that's just a taste...
Hopefully you will see through the pages in this book how my photography grew with the band. I learnt a lot shooting these guys. From the very small venues to the massive stadiums they ended up in, I've met some amazing people along the way, but best of all I got to work with the best band on the planet, bar none. Hope you enjoy the ride.
