The project "M.A.D" initiated by Marc (ex-SKULL) starts in 2004 with the OST "Astarte", a dark and oppressive fantastic film.
In 2006, M.A.D produces a second OST from the motion picture " Sous Terre" that reflects a world that dies and leads us to the apocalypse.
In the same year, M.A.D recorded the split-cd "Confusion" by collaborating with the band nic-U and with the woman artist Orlinda Lavergne.
In 2007, the project opens its doors to others musicians. Rozie, Thomas (from S-CORE), Judd and nic-U (from nic-U, ex-SKULL) work on Marc's project to form an new entity and to developpe the live aspect.
M.A.D's world is inspired by old gothics movies from the 20's to the 70's. Musically, there's a mix of influences like the new-wave from the 80's, Metal music in it's largest words and by dark movies composers.
The band is actually preparing a new album and begins a new adventure on the road and on stage.

M.A.D est le projet solo de Marc, chanteur de Skull. Il vit le jour en 2004 au travers de la bande originale d’un long métrage, “Astarte”, film fantastique aux atmosphères inquiétantes.
Cette première bande originale de film le conduit à poursuivre l’exercice sur un court métrage, “Sous terre”, dont il signe la bande originale début 2006. Là encore, l’univers se veut sombre et inspiré par le Mal.
Aujourd’hui, M.A.D sort le split cd “Confusion” en collaboration avec le groupe nic-u (dans lequel il tient le poste de guitariste) et l’artiste Orlinda Lavergne.
L’univers de M.A.D gravite dans des sphères obscures. Sa musique est empreinte de la noirceur propre aux films à l’esthétique gothique.
Quand l’énergie du Métal rencontre la mélancolie Folk sur fond d’électronique distordue...
