------AL JACQUEZ / vocals, guitar & harmonica / ------
In his early days he was best known as the voice of Savage Grace releasing two albums on Reprise Records. Since then he has honed his singing and playing skills on stages and studios in the US and Europe. Eventually landing on the West Coast, he wrote and played for several years in Los Angeles with former Michigan guitarist Mark J Tomorsky. You can hear his signature vocal contributions on commercials for the big three automakers and on recordings by Savage Grace, Lightnin’, Burning Circle, The Suspects, and the Miller Brothers Band.
------MARK TOMORSKY / guitar & vocals / ------
Mark began his musical journey in Michigan as a fan of Al Jacquez and Mark Gougeon’s collaboration in Lightnin’. After producing fund raising musical events for the U.S.Olympic Comittee with Al, he toured Europe twice with Vantage Point! including performances at the Montreux Jazz Festival and shows for the Olympic Athletes in Lake Placid, NY. Relocating to Los Angeles he has toured the United States extensively as a supporting player with several well known pop acts; Mark Lindsay, The Grass Roots, Flo & Eddie (The Turtles). He has recorded for film and television with Little Richard, Billy Preston and many others.
------MARK GOUGEON / bass & vocals / ------
Mark fronted several popular Detroit area bands before connecting with former Savage Grace front man Al Jacquez to form Lightnin’. After that band’s untimely demise, he went on to play and record with Mitch Ryder for several years, releasing many of Mitch’s best post-Detroit Wheels records. Along the way he found himself working with John Mellencamp, the Kingbees Jamie James, and rubbing elbows with a young Stevie Ray Vaughn.
------FRANK CHARBONEAUX / drums & vocals / ------
Frank met Mark Tomorsky when both were working around Los Angeles with THE JEFF NAIDEAU BAND in the early 90’s. The two were featured on composer CHRIS ANDERSON’s disc, “Whitey’s Carnival Of Funk” (a tribute to 70’s Funk & RnB) along with members of TOWER OF POWER. They also played along with Al Jacquez on the MILLER BROTHERS BAND – “Tales From Foundry Town” CD. Frank has toured or recorded with ERIC BURDON, JIMMY Z, JOHN MAYALL, STEPHEN STILLS, MICK TAYLOR, KEVIN CRONIN, BRET MICHAELS, RICHARD ELLIOT, DAVE STUART, CAROLE KING, DON "SUGARCANE" HARRIS & DEWEY TERRY.

BLUES, SOUL & ROCK 'N' ROLL. Three simple styles that sum up the music of Measured Chaos. Three styles that are the inspiration, as well as the direction. This is a band that is heavily influenced by Chicago's classic blues, Detroit's R&B, and the Rock music explosion of the late sixties, and carries the pedigrees to match.

Measured Chaos takes that statement to heart. Blues, Soul & Rock 'n' Roll. Those three ingredients are their inspiration, as well as their direction. The band is heavily influenced by Chicago's classic blues, Detroit's R&B, and the Rock music explosion of the late sixties, and they have the pedigrees to prove it.
Al Jacquez, Mark Tomorsky, Mark Gougeon and Frank Charboneaux enjoyed impressive musical careers before being fused together as Measured Chaos. Their collective credits include; Eric Burdon, Guardian Angel, Jamie James, Lightnin', Mark Lindsay, Little Richard, John Mayall, John Mellencamp, Mitch Ryder, Billy Preston, Savage Grace, Stephen Stills, The Suspects, Mick Taylor, as well as work for commercials, film and television.
Live shows by the Detroit based quartet are a powerful reminder that connecting with an audience is the most important part of any performance. It brings a physical definition to the phrase “substance over style.” No histrionics. No explosions. No fake personas. Just honest, "from the footprint of their soul" performances, revealing a life spent working to get to this point.
Measured Chaos has been touring since 2003, delighting audiences from 8 to 80. From die-hard blues aficionados to kids raised on rap and rock, from clubs to theatres to festivals. Whatever the combination, when Chaos plays, something good happens. With countless miles logged and 2 CDs under their belts, MC is gaining on the dream.

Hey MEASURED CHAOS! Thanks for being our MySpace Dot Com Friend. You can check out more “Smoke’n Red Hot Songs” from Core Effect on The iTunes, and maybe download 1 or 3… and then we can afford to get ourselves a delicious sandwich. HA!
Y'all tore it up last night and the crowd dug the hell out of it. The new CD is great...played it through this morning. Nothing like kicking off a Sunday with some Measured Chaos. See ya down the road...Doug
