Meatball Magic is the longest-running alternative and indie dance night in the Central Valley, and we ain't stopping any time soon.     I'm Running a Marathon
    Yes, it is true. I will be running a marathon (that's a whole whopping 26.2 miles). This will be my first marathon therefore I am involoved in a four month training program where we increase our distance each week. In the end I will have tallied up approximately 500 miles. This is all in preparation with the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. The money raised through this training program will provide for advanced drug therapies, medical care and other important services to help keep people alive until a cure is found. This is why I am committed to raise at least $2,800 before May 1st, although I am striving to raise even more.
    What I am asking here is for your support! Any donation you can make to help me meet my goal would be awesome! If interested in supporting this amazing cause you can visit the Training program's Web site at http://pages. teamintraining. org/cca/rnr09/lquillen and make a donation on my behalf.
    This is my first time embarking on such a feat and I'm a little intimidated, but with your support and encouragement, I know it will be a success!!
