About me: My Name is Anthony "Meatloaf" Benavides. And as you may have guested, I am a Professional Body Piercer. My career began just outside of Detroit, Michigan when I started apprenticing under "Gentleman" Rich Fisher. This all began in the summer of 2003. Then later that year, Rich Fisher had opened Division Tattoo, and I began Piercing for a Living. I stayed at Division Tattoo for 3 solid years. Rich & I had traveled through -out the Mid-West working conventions, meeting/networking with other artists, and learning new techniques. On Top of building a solid reputation and client base. In order to expand my career to the Fullest, we both knew I needed to move on. With Rich's blessing I went on to work at the Lucky Monkey in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Where I had the pleasure to work along side of the Talented Wendi Wenzel. Working with another Piercer really helped keep me on my toes. I was able to learn and expand, while always having fun! But I still needed more! Then in the winter of 2007 I was offered a job across the country in Beautiful Sunny California. A New Tattoo Shop was being opened by a friend and asked if I would join the team and be there Body Piercer. So February 1st 2007 I relocated to Bakersfield, California. After 3 years in Cali and 4 different shops Mandy & I decided to "Take it to the Road". Who Knows maybe we'll be in a City Near You!!
