The Misses started their band just for fun, but with almost five years of rockin’ under their belts have become a St. Louis favorite. They have produced two compact discs. Their first being the 4 song e.p. titled, "4 Play", and their latest a full-length c.d. titled (after their motto), "The more you drink, the better we sound!".
The Misses have been lucky enough to share the stage with many national recording artists as well as a wide variety of local talent. They are as comfortable on stage at music festivals such as Las Vegas Rock-A-Round, Warped Tour and Pridefest as they are playing local venues like Pop’s, The Pageant, The Hi-Pointe, Way Out Club and every other local honky-tonk in town.
The band consists of sisters Misses Robinskin (drums) and Misses Sikki Nixx (vox), with their sisters in rock Misses Olota Luv on bass and Misses Lay Low on guitar. These gals like to let loose and have fun taking influences from Rock, Pop, Punk and Metal and making it their own. Thunder drums, power vocals, grooving bass and ripping guitar along with campy humor make for an entertaining night with The Misses.
Featuring Doc and Longhead from the original Billy Coma and new members, Jamey Almond formerly of The Trip Daddys on Guitar and Lorne formerly of the Electric on Bass!
Come see us open for legendary '60s garage punks GONN at Off Broadway in St. Louis on January 5th! The Vultures are also on the bill... Click the web flyer for more info:
