Bio
Meberob writes unique songs of drunken nights out, failed conquests and modern day life, as we know it. .... The lyrics have been described as modern day, urban poetry. Rob and his eclectic ever-changing line up, pulls off track after track of dangerously melodic, never to be forgotten tunes, all executed with more wit and performance than you can shake a stick at. .... …A musical melting pot of, kind of urban, kind of folk, kind of post punk, but most of all…. just original and truly unique. Superb melodies, inspired lyrics and an honest connective performance. .... Influences such as Frank Turner, Talking Heads, Jamie T, Johnny Cash and alcohol. .... Previously lead singer and guitarist in Listen To Johnny, Rob and the band played around the country to rave reviews, received radio play from Radio West Midlands and achieved second place in a national battle of the bands. .... After splitting from the band Meberob was born. Meberob’s solo shows have been very well received and have generated many acclaimed reviews, from venues around the country. From his conquered home city of Lichfield, playing the headline spot for the Fuse Acoustic tent to regular headlines in many of Nottingham’s finest live music venues to London to Scotland….to everywhere! .... As well as the solo tours Meberob has supported the likes of The Wombats, The Holloways, Vincent Vincent and The Villains and Bombay Bicycle Club. .... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ......follow meberob at http://twitter.com.... .... ..
