I seen this and it is so right, people seem to think their breed of dog is not being affected by BSL and then suddenly their breed of dog is under attack. I encourage anyone with any breed of dog to fight against BSL participate,help people take a stand, the day may come you need help.

Anyone who rescues and saves animals.
I have read all about SGT.Stubby and he was an amazing pit bull.He was called Stubby because he had a stubbed tail. He learned how to salute by putting his right paw above his right brow. He was a mascot for the infantry.He saved many soldiers lives.When he was injured he was taken care of just like the soldiers.He had a gas burn during the war and when he healed he was sensitive to the gas so when it happened again he was able to get the soldiers awake and again he saved lives.He caught a spy outside the camp.He was one Great Pit Bull in my eyes.He did a great job and he will always go down in historyPits hate Vick and so do I!!!.The American Pit Bull Terrier ***********************************************

About me: I am a down to earth working woman trying to work for the future and helping animals in any way I can. My heart is with the The American Staffordshire Terrier, and the American Pit Bull Terrier I love all Bully Breeds they are in my heart.I make it a point to do what I can to help homeless animals and I do what I can to fight against animal cruelty.I walk for the animals sign petitions what ever it may be.My experience with the American Staffordshire Terrier has been a great one, the breed is so willing to learn and they are what you put into them.They are loyal and can be clowns they must be socialized.I have found this has helped me out a lot and I have had complete strangers stop me during a walk to ask me a question about the breed and then they will smile at me and tell me how my American Staffordshire Terrier is balanced.I recently adopted a Pit Bull into the pack and he has been a great joy. I have enjoyed training him,he has learned a lot in the past 30 days of bringing him home.He had been neglected and starved and today he is doing really well. He has been loyal and become a best friend. He has learned sit, sit and stay up to 60 feet now,leave it,down,side heel,back heel I continue working with him and he loves it. I don't like Breed Specific Legislation it kills dog's based on their breed and that is wrong.I hope to change people's mind's about this breed.The media only show's the bad side of the breed and there is a lot of good to the breed.It takes working with them and being consistent and in the end you have a great dog you will be so proud of. I want the breed to be in the United States of America forever. I am trying to put positive information out there for this breed that has become a part of my life.I will continue standing up for this breed. I encourage anyone to become educated on the breed and you will find there are many hero pit bulls.There is information all over the internet on the hero pit bulls,it is very interesting to read.I hate dog fighting of any breed.I lived in southern Illinois for 34 years and moved 400 miles north so here I am today taking life day by day.In April 2009 I had joined a site for Pit Bulls and all Bully Breeds and it has been a great experience. I have met many people and have been able to help with dogs there and this is my goal is to be a voice and help the Pit Bull in any way I can.

A Cry From The Pit Bull
There were six of us puppies born two girls and four boys.
The breeder put us up for sale cheap and we all went quickly.
He did not check to see what kind of people was getting us.
In the hands of the devil we all went.
It was one big night, I knew it was time to fight.
My owner got me all ready, I did not want to fight.
Tonight I would be fighting all my brother’s and my two sisters.
I headed down the tunnel with scars on my face, scarred for life and my owner doesn’t care.
Why does he make me do this?
Why can’t someone help me?
The stench of blood I can smell.
The walls are covered in blood from the battles, from the night before.
I wish I had a better owner, I really don’t want to fight.
I played with all my brother’s and sister’s we use to have a good time.
Well here we go I hear my sister crying, while my brother chokes her down.
The owner’s are pushing them to go even harder,
I think my sister is dead, she is not responding, I know my brother did not want to do that.
What are they doing with my sister? They are dumping her in a bin!
Why can’t someone help us? I don’t want to do this.
It is my turn now, my handler is getting me into my brother’s face.
I know if I don’t fight I will be killed.
I don’t want to fight my brother, he has already won a fight.
Can someone please help us? Get us out of this fight.
I go into my tired brother who has already been fought.
We fight like the human wants us to until we drop.
Blood is every where my sister’s blood, my brother’s blood and mine.
One more of us will die tonight because one of us did not put up a good enough fight.
My owner is walking me out, bang I hear the echo of a gun go off splitting the silence of the night.
One more brother is dead, one by one we will all be dead.
All because the human pushes us to fight for money.
Will this ever end.
I am scarred for life, maybe I should run away.
Maybe somebody will help me and be a voice for me someday.
To end the dog fighting and ruining our lives.
There has to be a better place.
Will you humans please put a stop to the dog fighting before it ends our lives.
I wrote this as I would view through the eyes of dog put up to fight.
My voice to end dog fighting across the United States of America.
