   About Mechanoise Labs
Founded in 1998 in Paris. Relocated to the US (Virginia) in June 2008.

Recent and past releases include:

Flatline Skyline - All Sound / No Vision [mn034] CD
The second album from Jacen Kemp and Robert Andrew Scott stands as a stylistic counter-statement to 2005's "Horizon Grid." Fierce, emotionally driven and abrasively textured, "All Sound / No Vision" confirms Flatline Skyline's masterful sense of tension and release and melodic sensibility while further evolving their sound beyond any previous expectation.
(Digisleeve with 12-page booklet, 500 copies, $13)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Cisfinitum - Tactio [mn033] CD
Remastered recording from the live performance held on November 24, 2005 at Saint Peter's Cathedral in Bremen. A meditative composition of radiant drones in the best tradition of Cisfinitum's works.
(Digipak, 500 copies, $13)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Karma Kommando - The Revolver as a Prayer Wheel [mn032] 3" CD-R
Voluntarily misappropriated karmic concepts for powerless electronics. Like perpetually stumbling in the cycles of cause and consequence with no exit in sight. Mostly conceived and recorded with a few self-feeding pedals, vocals and some wind chimes. "To right every wrong, to wrong every right".
(Mini-DVD case, 50 copies, -not currently available-)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Concrete Belly - Self-titled [mn031] 3" CD-R
Somewhere between bedroom folk music, circuit-bent electronics and comatose drones, this mini-album brings together a little selection of assorted tracks sent to us by this UK musician. The fragile melodies and shimmering guitar sounds might bring to mind some of Aidan Baker's releases, but the noisier riffs and more loop-based structures of these tracks definitely give them their own personality.
(Mini-jewel case, 50 copies, -not currently available-)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Necromondo - Self-titled [mn030] CD
53 minutes of maggot-infested sounds strongly inspired by Italian horror movies of the late 70's / early 80's. Oscillating synthesizer buzzes, intestinal bass rumbles, grunting, moaning and fields recordings from contaminated areas.
(Clear jewel case, 525 copies, $12)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Bardoseneticcube & Igor V. Petrov - The Perpetuum Mobile Space Vehicle [mn029] CD
Collaborative material from Bardoseneticcube's recording sessions with St. Petersburg-based saxophonist Igor V. Petrov. Definitely one of Bardoseneticcube's most singular and musical works, with a mixture of irradiated electronics, hazy lunar jazz, sedated drones and urban soundscapes. Artwork by STPo.
(Digipak, 500 copies, $13)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Stelladrine - You'll Never See Your World Again [mn027] CD
Journey to a world where monsters, martians and death rays lurk in every corner. Hear the wailing theremins, the bleeps of space-age technology and the roars of soaring rockets! Experience the terror of a thousand alien invasions, the shock of cosmic travel and the spectacular sights of the unknown! Features stunning artwork by STPo.
(Clear jewel case, 550 copies, $10)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Flatline Skyline - Horizon Grid [mn026] CD
The debut album from two young prolific musicians that meshes elements of IDM, noise, trip-hop and lush melodic electronics into a personal and inspiring piece of work. The best of genre-hopping experimentation with inspired lyrics and strong vocal performance.
(Digisleeve with 3-panel booklet, 400 copies, $13)
[ mp3s / more info ]

Kryptogen Rundfunk - 22.SZ [mn024] CD
First full-length release from this St. Petersburg-based project, providing you with waves of luscious radio noise and the warm, glowing murmurs of technology.
(A5 cardboard cover in a PVC sleeve, 350 copies, $14)
[ mp3s / more info ]
