The Mediah Music Group was a idea that i had, not to put any specific label on music, poetry or art, but an emphesis on freedom through these creative outlets that we all have tucked away in all of us. I began playing drums when I was about 5 years old pulling out pots and pans from the kitchen and by the time I was 12 it was full on hitting the drums as hard as i could going through sticks and a mothers sanity. Drums and Percussion are still my passion but along the way it is hard to pack those things up and move around the country. So on a whisky driven night in Homer,Alaska maybe my second day there Pull up to a place they called The Bayside, a dimmley lit place where just about anything could happen, Lights still dim, a band walks up a man named "English" steps up with a worn banjo and even more worn soles to his shoes and says " Ha ,good evening Homer! " and from then on, i was forever changed. There was no feeling that i can put into words, I danced and danced and danced with all of the local gals there in there extra tuff boots and long flowered dresses there was no end to the smiles and sliping and sliden on beer seasoned floors. With English's banjo on fire and when waynes hands touched the mandolin i couldnt see his fingers they were moving so fast and jeffs melocholy yet punkish upright bass playing kept the low end down, bobs guitar "boom chicked " as if he was born Ernst Tubbs neighbor. Kellys accordian was straight out of the circus. Then later Matt Farnsworth a man whom i hold the highest regard to as a musician, inspiration and friends, and u to Atz and Burnsey, jane fluff matt jeff gus hans and through all of my friends and travels, became who I am today. I got a old Epiphone Guitar for 50 bucks and a 1932 Gretsch 5 string and just played as much of what my ears heard. Well fast forward to today and here is just a little bit of music for you its not much but in life you learn more and through the unknown. And to me music is the endless unknown ,so many possibilities! cheers and i hope you enjoy. peace
