Bash, bash - back seat bingo in a big eight cat, a chariot and Medicine Show - oh howl, howl Medicine Show - that angel headed, doo wop n roll carnival from Camden Town.
After cutting out halfway through a Babyshambles support tour in late 2008, Medicine Show re-laced their boots, took a trip to the pharmacist, followed the storm and reformed in August 2009 in that fiery place where beat writing and 50s pop rock'n'roll combine.
Rejecting cross-legged acoustic fumblings in favour of rockabilly guitars and swirling hipster organs, the new line up of Johnny Moriarty, Jonah Hardy, Alice and Louis The King sold 1000 copies of their self-recorded debut single 'Trouble Trouble' in just three weeks, firmly establishing Medicine Show as one of London's hottest new groups.
Walking like Bo Diddley over roads alive with fire, Medicine Show's sound is a fog of crumbling field hollers and subterranean beatnik spirit - a music full of put-down swagger and chains of flashing images that recall Buddy Holly or Eddie Cochran in all their raging glory.
Bang bang rock'n'roll, gabba gabba hey... x x
