   About Medic
Medic's final studio recordings, now available for download

John and Matt got together a few times after Medic disbanded to track some of the ideas that never made it into the group setting. Here's your chance to hear four unreleased tracks recorded at the Ice Cream Factory Studio.

Choose the zip file or individual MP3s - whichever you like best!

Medic Unreleased Studio Recordings

This is the new style!
We're pleased to announce the addition of Dave Becknell on drums to the Medic lineup! Dave played with Matt in Semi-Automatic, where they held down the rhythm section for that three guitar juggernaut, and they find themselves reunited and coming to stages and CDs near you soon!

Check out photos from the recording of the CD - click here

Medic review in Cincinnati CityBeat

Medic is located in an ice cream factory turned artist's workspace warehouse in the middle of the ghetto in Cincinnati, right at the bottom of Ohio. Medic started with a friend telling a friend that they should get together and make music. Everything fell into place in October, 2003. Before they met each other they had recorded tracks at separate times for one of the songs on the 2004 debut release, and after meeting and playing together the obvious thing to do was form Medic and start recording and playing immediately.

Medic is dedicated to creating songs and sounds that try everything, think hard, and inspire health and well-being in those that listen.

Medic is:

John Giua - vocals, guitar.
Previously John was singer, guitarist and songwriter for the Cincinnati band "Mike", and has been listening to his family make great music and learning from them since shortly after he was born.

Matt Parmenter - bass, keyboards, backing vocals.
Prior to Medic, Matt was the bassist for Semi-Automatic. Prior to that he played with a few industrial bands and a couple of rockabilly bands in Chicago as a bassist, pianist or guitarist. Before that he fiddled with sound gear and strange noises way up north.

Dave Becknell - live drums, percussion, backing vocals.
Before joining Medic in early '06, Dave was the main monster behind The Screaming Kings and Semi-Automatic, where he and Matt held down the rhythm section for that three guitar juggernaut.

Former member Brian Kelley - drums, percussion, backing vocals.
Brian is currently playing with Eric Matthew Tepe. He was there from the beginning and helped shape Medic. Check out his myspace page and hire him to lay down some of the tastiest drums you've ever heard.

You don't suck! I've just decided to keep buying equipment instead of having kids. Hence, the new Ampeg 6x10 and the new bass. My husband just bought a new lawn tractor. No kids for us! We like toys.

Hey to all myspace friends. I am posting this to let you all know that the feature film that I have spent 3 years of my life on has finally been put on DVD. I edited the feature as well as the documentary that goes with this kick ass 2 disc set. Features on the DVD also include Directors commentary as well as deleted scenes with commentary and much more. The DVD is only 12.95 and I would love for you guys to buy one, two or even 10 copies of it. What a great christmas present!!! Just go to this link and purchase it through paypal. Help support independent film. Thanks a lot.

Having just finished up with Peter at SXSW, I could honestly say you guys would've fit right in. There were tons of hard rock/metal bands, but a lot of them lack the refinery and creativity your music has.
