Television"In Bed With Medinner" was a late 1990s TV programme made by LWT. Bob Mills introduced clips of 'old television'- usually programmes that looked a bit rediculous by modern standards. He would point out presenters quirks and mistakes, and laugh at how innocent and amateur television used to be. Of course, with socially aware big budget television programmes like "Celebrity Love Island" now on our idiot lanterns, the type of programmes Bob and his researchers found for us no longer exist *cough*.

In Bed With Medinner was a forerunner of Harry Hill's TV Burp, and was usually broadcast at 1.30 or 1.45am on ITV (and later repeated on Paramount). Quite why any TV company would make a programme intended for such late night viewing is a bit of a mystery, and it meant that few people ever got to see this lost TV gem. For those who saw it though, the unique presentation and the rubbish links that Mills did tend to stick in the mind.

My website compiles every episode (although I still need information on some episodes) and offers links to YouTube to view 8-10 min clips from a variety of episodes. I'm also happy to put episodes up for download on MegaUpload, because I believe this programme should be available- and with no chance of repeats, and no chance of a DVD release (imagine trying to clear the rights on all of those clips!) I guess that it's my job to get this funny prog back into the public domain :-)

The website isn't there to make money, but to let people see and remember a classic TV programme which wasn't ever going to be a hit and so remains a bit of a secret gem. Most of the people who email me have one or two episodes they remember and would like to get hold of again, and I'm only too happy to put episodes up for free download when asked nicely! :-)
