Hard Rock & Metal listeners have compared MEDIUM music to a uncanny mix of Tool, A Perfect Circle, Danzig, Black Sabbath, Sonic Youth and early Soundgarden and have compared the vocals to 4-AD (Lisa Gerrard), Grace Slick, Siouxsie Sioux and P.J. Harvey rolled into one...dark cabaret-like characterizations, cut-up, minimalistic inverted melodies and outbursts of raw emotionalism, classical theatrics, gothic romanticism and avantgarde dramatics.
"Otherworld" was inspired by magical happenings, surreal landscapes, spiritual experiences and mystical encounters I had while living in Seattle, Washington between the years of 1994-2002. Each story line stems from an imagined archetype or character's perception and it's emotional experience to it's landscape. "I'm a visual artist and I see vivid images or scenes taking shape when I listen to music.
