Latest UPDATE
Friday (July 27) while playing with my lovely dog I broke my right hand. We often play rough but this time she won. Tuesday (July 31) I went in for surgery to have five pins and a plate to help refuse the 5th metatarsal (that's fancy talk). The surgery was a great success even though the break was worse than originally expected I was on the road to recovery. Three weeks later I fell victim to yet another mishap. While cleaning the kitchen beef stew was spilled all over my cast, resulting in first degree burns on my hand. Many might find that funny but since that incident I have been cast free thanks to the approval of my doctor. Being in a cast for 2 weeks vs. 4 is ok with me...lol. I am slowly regaining the use of my hand but it will take several months to be back to "normal." As for my photography, I am not as fast on action shots but studio/portraits are ok pending I don't have to hold the camera for long periods of time.
Thank you to all my friends and family that have helped me get through this tuff time, especially Brittany. I am not sure what I would do without you and thank you again for being there for me as you always have. I love you.

About ME
As for myself, my name is Scott and I was born and raised in North Carolina. I am the proud father of two beautiful children, a little boy 9 and a little girl 4.
Photography has been a great passion of mine for several years. In August of 2006 Meece Photography was officially started with my first “professional” camera (Canon 20D). Prior to the professional era shooting with “light-weight” digital cameras and 35mm (Canon T70 and Nikon N4004) life was good. After much debating and research I have sold all of my Canon equipment and now shoot Nikon. The D200 is a different animal than my previous camera but the basics are still the same.
Now working totally in the world of digital photography I have taken thousands of pictures some good, some bad….ok, a lot of bad ones but it happens to the best of us.
Being a photographer allows me to express myself through many different outlets. Recently I have taken on my largest project as WebMaater for Dunn-Benson Dragstrip. Henceforth why I use MySpace as an alternative for a personal website because I don't have time to create my own. I have learned a lot about the java world but also gained many new friends along the way. Feel free to check out the website by clicking on the logo below:
As for my own work I have had the great pleasure of working with very talented people and through them I have become what I am today. The support my family and friends have provided is the fuel to my success. I am always looking for new ideas, faces, and places to take photographs. If anyone has ideas, interest in being photographed, or places you feel are special please send me a message.
"The MilkMan"
As for the "MilkMan" fan club, well for those that don't know me that is my nickname. Many have questioned how the name was started ..... if you really want to know ask, LOL.
As for those people that do know me I wanted to say a few things from my heart. If you don't see your names here just check back because I can only type so much in one setting.
Brittany, I don't know where to begin. Everything happens for a reason. You came into my life when I was at rock bottom, and since that day you have helped me back on track. For this you will always have a special place in my heart. You have helped me understand the true definition of a friendship and I can only hope that I can do the same for you over time. This year has been challenging for everyone but most of all for you. The loss of your dad has hurt us all but I will continue to be there for you and your family when and where ever I can help. I love you.
Ashley, There is one word that describes the type of person you are: Amazing. Your smile can brighten anyone’s day and your laughter warms my heart. I know everything in your life here recently seems to be falling apart and you have many questions that are unanswered, but with time and faith all your questions will be answered. I know you will rise above your past and your future will be wonderful. There is not one day that goes by that I am not thankful I have you in my life. I hope you realize how much your friendship means to me. I know being across the country from each other has its tolls on any friendship but I have never felt totally distant from you. Know I love you and will always be here for you.
Jennifer, "Fire" One word that sums you up. You are full of life and an amazing mother. I look up to you in so many ways for what you have accomplished and overcome. Many people would have thrown in the towel but you always seem to find the positive in every situation. I cherish our friendship; you and the boys will always be a part of my life. I love you.
Dawn, every good group of friends needs a "true" Yankee, you know what I'm saying DAWG. Our friendship is simple but amazing. We can go weeks without talking, take five minute to get caught up and then feel like you were never gone. I love your honesty and outgoing nature. You are an amazing mother, and just like many of us despite the difficult hand you have been dealt in life you persevered and over time turn everything around and now I see you holding the winning hand. Thank you for everything.
Last but not least BakerBoy, Man we have been through some shit. Most everyone that knows me knows Jamie. I am not sure where I would be without you. We have been friends since kindergarten and despite everything you have always been there. If I ever need anything you have stepped up to the plate. How many times have you helped me move now? You have a crazy fucked up family but I love all you guys. I look forward to chasing college girls from our wheel chairs when we are 90 years old.
