The Meerkats members are :
Joel McDowell - Bassist and vocalist;
Joel also owns and operates
"Cedar Digital Studios" which is responsible
for the band's audio mastering, video and web productions.
Brook Hoover - guitarist and vocalist;
Brook owns the recording studio"Black Door Studios" where
the Meerkats record their great cd's.
Erik Marshall - the bands drummer;
Erik's vicious drumming style keeps the
band on it's fast, fun and always steady pace.
Kyle D. Oyloe - guitarist and vocalist;
Kyle recently rejoined the band and has added that special
something that we have not been able to pinpoint.

The Meerkats have been rockin' Iowa
and surrounding states since 1992.
They have released three albums and are
currently finishing their fourth.
They have played OVER 1,000 clubs,
colleges and/or festivals.
The band's musical abilities, subtle wit and amazing stage show
have earned them the title of
"Best Band in Cedar Rapids" The Icon Magazine - Iowa City, Iowa.
