Nick & The Mirrors was born at the mid of 2008. After several years of working with the electronic pop band John Merrick Experiment, Nick decided to create his solo project based on traditionnal pop songs inspired by the sixties and influenced by artists such as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson or Tim Hardin.
During the past four years, he’s written tons of melodies and some other weird stuff like romantic dialogs between a postman and a giant strawberry, lyrics for the next Montserrat Caballé's vocal album and a book about a girl with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (soon available at Alchel Mibin). In spite of the interest of working with la senora Caballé, he preferred to focus on the Mirrors project, much more interesting (financially speaking).
So, at the end of 2009, Nick is happy to present you the first Nick & The Mirrors called T(h)reeshadows. Seven songs recorded at home with a couple of good musicians and friends.

Nick & The Mirrors est un projet né au milieu de l’année 2008. Après plusieurs années d’un travail assidu auprès du groupe John Merrick Experiment, Nick se tourne vers une chanson pop traditionnelle inspirée des années 60 et influencée par des artistes comme George Harrison, Harry Nilsson ou Tim Hardin.
Ces quatre dernières années, il a écrit des tonnes de mélodies et quelques bizarreries comme un recueil de dialogues entre un postier et une fraise géante, les paroles du prochain album de Montserrat Caballé et un livre sur une jeune fille atteinte d’arthrite rhumatoïde (bientôt disponible chez Alchel Mibin). Malgré l’évident intérêt d’une collaboration avec la senora Caballé, il préfère se concentrer sur le projet Mirrors beaucoup plus intéressant (financièrement parlant).
En cette fin d’année 2009, Nick est heureux de vous présenter le premier Nick & The Mirrors : “T(h)reeshadows”. Sept chansons enregistrées à la maison avec des amis musiciens.
