"Meet the Storm" was founded at the end of 2007, by Rotterdam based musicians that wanted to make a new, raw kind of music.
All having different backgrounds in music made this really interesting. Styles collided and styles fused.
they managed to blend their styles, which resulted in: "an energetic mixture of hardcore, punk and a twist of southern rock every now and then."
In the first six months an EP was recorded that contained 5 bone crushing songs, followed by playing a lot of shows and sharing the stage with big international and national acts. Their intense heart-felt live performance is a true display of love and devotion to their music. Up to now this has led them to a reputation for an insane and powerful show.
Right now their focus is on writing new material that will take there music to the next level. So keep your eye on the Storm, cause plans are to play as many shows as possible and record a full length album in 2010.
