MEGAHERTZ: Formado em 1985, desde o inicio já mostrava seu estilo diferente dentro do Thrash Metal, com suas letras bem sacadas e seu estilo old-school. Como de praxe com qualquer banda de metal, muitas demos foram gravadas e somente em 1989 sai o primeiro trabalho oficial da banda, TECHNODEATH um split-LP juntamente com o AVALON, pela Cogumelo Records. Em 1991 a banda grava o single Rehearsal Tapes, desta vez via Whiplash Records, em 2001 são convidados a participar da coletânea (dfd) Caos compilation…
Foram muitos shows realizados e depois de longos 16 anos o Megahertz conseguiu gravar o seu primeiro álbum: PYRAMIDAL POWER, que saiu de forma independente em 2002. Em 2004 a banda paralisa suas atividades e agora reformulada volta a ativa, fazendo uma releitura de todo o material já produzido e com novas musicas. Formado por Nixon (vocal), Mike e Kasbafy (guitarras), Marcelo (baixo) e Mauricio Barros (bateria),o MEGAHERTZ esbanja em seu som um thrash metal de muito bom gosto!
