The Megahorns are currently cooking up a new album! Its a heavy base of funk with a smothering of hip hop, a good handful of pop, a strong dash of soul and a sprinkling of assorted cool stuff. It's going to be released in March/April 2010 with a ton of shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide!
The guys have been playing together since 2006, constantly developing and recreating their sound, messing up the line between solid tradition and offensive originality.
From humble beginnings as a high school jazz band busking in Melbourne's CBD, The Megahorns have now grown into a funk/hip hop beast tearing up local venues such as The Espy, The Corner Hotel, The East Brunswick Club and Bar Open. The band has also become a festival favourite, this year having played Big Day Out, Moomba, Apollo Bay Music Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Boogie Festival and more
