About MegaMan X Collection

Mega Man X is based on the original SNES version. Mega Man X2 is also the SNES version, because before this collection was released there was only an SNES version available. The rest of the games are based on their PlayStation renditions. Mega Man Battle & Chase is a secret game gotten after completing the first three games. It is a classic series kart-racing game previously unreleased in North America. The Saturn and PlayStation versions of Mega Man X3 were also not available in North America, and include remixed music and anime scenes. However, the PC version eventually did see a release in North America. This collection does not include Mega Man X7 or X8, as they are currently available on the PlayStation 2, or any of the Mega Man X-series spinoffs, such as Mega Man X: Command Mission or the two Mega Man Xtreme games released for the Game Boy Color.
