San Francisco based duo Megamoog has been creating minimalist indie pop since 2007, when drummer Phoebe joined Megan's solo act of several years and injected Megan's wry tunes with a kick. Whimsical and nostalgic without being sentimental, their songs take on unrequited love, long winters, and coming of age. Megan's sweet and soft vocals are supported by a 1980's Casiotone keyboard, an electic guitar, a three-piece drum kit, and the occasional iPod. "We don't have any fans, except our moms and dads."
Megamoog has had the pleasure of playing with some great bands: Lullatone, Ponies in the Surf, Land of Ill Earthquakes, Pipas, YellowFever, Suburban Kids with Biblical Names, little naps, Beatbeat Whisper, Shelby Sifers, 1/3 of Pants Yell!
