Bio
.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... Megan Woodland Donley, singer and songwriter of Megan and The Wheelmen, has been singing since she can remember. She picked up the guitar and began writing songs at age 14 and has been playing on her own and in various bands ever since. She is honored and blessed to play with the following gentlemen... Andrew Evans Naylor is a theory man at heart and his true love is harmony. Andrew is an accomplished and eclectic musician - his instruments include the fretless and upright bass, piano, organ, guitar, and drums. He plays with numerous bands and musicians in the York, Pa area, including A.D. Chandler, Dana Alexandra, and Ben Britton. He is an instructor in music theory and technique. Clem Foust has been playing the pedal steel for many moons and has performed with a wide range of musical groups since the 1970s. He is an intuitive and soulful musician. Clem's playing is both mesmerizing and haunting, partly due to the unique tuning he uses - a hybrid between the Country E9 tuning and the Jazzier C6. The Wheelmen also include the following musicians at times: drummer Todd Reid (has played with A.D. Chandler and other bands) , Jeff Hewitt (of Wild Goose Chase) on electric guitar, Luis Woodyard (of B Tropical) on percussion, Pete Richards (of Free Breakfast, American Bitch, and A.D. Chandler and His Imaginary Band) on sax and mandolin, Lindsey Keeney (a Wheelwoman! of Free Breakfast and American Bitch) singing back up vocals, and Dane Paul Russel (of The Dane Paul Russel Band!) on the harmonica. Megan and The Wheelmen are currently playing shows in the central PA area and working on recording their first album with Stacey Young at his studio in Craley, PA. Hey what's up? How much would you be willing to pay for a year round band membership to a 42+ acre, multi stage venue? Our current price is set for $1000.00 year round, but we can be flexible, as long as we raise enough funds to make the initial purchase.
Bands not in Pennsylvania might appreciate having a base of operation to fall back on while making their rounds through the Pennsylvania circuits. Word of mouth is greatly appreciated.
