I wanted to create a new way of bringing this wonderful music alive by pulling in tunes people love to hear on a Jazz album. I had a fabulous time making sure that all the songs have the attention, great arrangements, hot rhythm, and plenty of Jazz complexities as all our adored pure standard albums have.
