Tom Waits, first and foremost, Bands getting the most play right now: Bikini Kill (and thus Julie Ruin), The New York Dolls, Suicide, Gogol Bordello (see picture - BEST NIGHT EVER), The Bangs, The Damned, The Distillers, Carla Bruni, Blossom Dearie, Television, The Clash, Ramones, Manu Chao, DeVotchKa, Sham 69, Sex Pistols, and really, I can listen to anything while sitting on a blueish floor on a hot day...
Movies
Anything with a grain. And dialogue that doesn't suck. French. Italian. Code Hollywood. Docs that express emotion in strange strange ways. Short films (really, all of them, i can do nothing but watch shorts all day - they are usually more inspired than anything else put out today). Stories involving absurd reasons of why 6 people cannot eat dinner. netflix is god to me.
Television
1992 Austrian television production of "The Black Rider" (Burroughs/Waits/Wilson). Originally shot in Hamburg. If anyone can find me a copy of this, I will personally hump your leg. And because I am a sucker for contemporary fiction dealing with space and time and science and religion (and all the drama that stems forth): Lost.
Books
The Mossflower Series, road signs, Kleinzahler, Wallace, Bolaño, McBain, Bukowski, de Beauvoir, Sartre, liner notes, Nietzsche, Eggers, Beckett, Iris Murdoch, Sedaris, the backs of shampoo bottles, The New Yorker, Harry Potter (sigh, I succumbed, but I wonder if there is a record for a person reading the whole series in less than a month?), Novalis, Burroughs (when I'm feeling really weird), poetry, The Economist, Diane Williams, Mary Gaitskill, the books I'm helping to compile, sometimes a Russian - but only on rainy days.

As for CO, I think it's still up in the air. I'm going to be in Denver in August for WorldCon (yes, that's how much of a geek I am), and I'm hoping that we can all hang out there around then, but nothing's been finalized.
