Raised in the Boogie Down Bronx , Mega Phenom was born to the family of the Davis's of whom was produced the most notorious of the Davis house one Larry Davis , which is Phenoms uncle. Larry Davis rose to fame the summer of 1987 when an all city manhunt was executed for his capture. During which time a standoff with the police ensued and Larry shot his way out of a project staircase armed with a shotgun and revolver against an entire compliment of Police officers from the notorious 44th precinct.
