General Info

megastick fanfare's debut album 'grit aglow' was released May 6, 2011, distributed through Other Tongues. Here are some of its early reviews...

"A sonic explosion that will leave you flabbergasted. The album is what would have happened if Disney's The Little Mermaid had been scored by someone really, really weird." 8/10 - JMAG

"At its heart it is luminous, gleefully weird pop, and one of the best records that's come out of Sydney this year." 4/5 Brag Indie Album of the Week

"Listening to this album is like having one of those really long, crazy dreams that you don't really want to wake up from. Is it weird? Yeah, more often than not it is a little - but beauty can be found in the unusual and this album brims with both." Drum Media
