About me:
I am the founding Artistic Director of Live Girls! theater in Seattle and a freelance director, educator and actor. www.livegirlstheater.org
I also work as the education manager for MOHAI www.seattlehistory.org
In the past I have feared myspace, since the pages SCREAM at you all the time and there is enough people in my head screaming all the time already. But apparently everyone lives here now so I give in.
But my blog is at http://lgtheater.livejournal.com/
I confess I am lazy over there too but we can talk in real life ok?
So more about me.
A got to marry my best friend and I like him more the longer I know him. I have a cat.
I like what I do most days even when it gets hard. I believe words can change the world. I used to be a Jehovah's Witness and distributed many copies of the Watchower and Awake's. Sometimes I give in to the melancholy but I am often a total spaz.
I am big and loud and I cry when I get angry. I get angry when kids are smashed down physically or emotionally. I get angry when women are are denied equal participation in the world or are not allowed to control their own bodies and who has access to them.
I didn't develop an actual sense of humor till I was about 20 so I am making up for lost time on that.
I believe theater should be much better and more fun than it often is. Theater builds communities and gets people to talk to and interact with other actual live people. I think we need more of that.
And as the late Kurt Vonnegut said-
“What should young people do with their lives today? Many things, obviously. But the most daring thing is to create stable communities in which the terrible disease of loneliness can be cured.”
Ok, lets talk.

Keeping track of current peeps and finding lost ones.
NOT looking for new friends on myspace.
