Sometimes in the band AUGUST with Linda Kidder, Beverley Elliott & Rae Armour (www.augustmusic.net)
Sometimes with co-writer Janet Lillian Russell in the duo "Lingo Sisters"
Influences
Northern Ontario, icicles on evergreens, the clack and hiss of skate blades on outdoor rinks, ships calling and foghorns by the river in early morning, the slosh of muddy boots on April roads, robin song, west-coast ocean waves, kitchen laughter, distant summer car sounds, ravens, acoustic guitar in bonfire-light, voices alone, piano in huge empty rooms, bluegrass at dusk....

Meg, Thanks so much for so generously putting my songs out there with your beautiful voice and wonderful talent. I saw James Taylor live at the Bell Centre last night, and its incredible how well his songs (and Carole King's) have transcended time. That has to be the greatest satisfaction of any writer. Love, Julia
SO very cool to hear back from you after so long!!! I am writing new material this year, plus singing in an obscure original local band (mostly in a garage :) and writing recording and producing on a friend of mine's project in North Vancouver. I've been working as a healer for about 6 years and I love that, it's all very busy but creative. I will try and see you perform this year. love Diane :)
Hi Meg I've listened through your CD several times now, and like all great songs, it gets better every time. Outstanding! It moves me, touches my heart, and makes me remember things. Great job!
Thank you for coming out to hear me, Meg. It was an honor to have you there. I had a great time and the people in Vancouver--the ones I met--are wonderful. Looking forward to listening through your CD when I get home. Come to Birmingham sometime and let us hear YOU! GF
